Daylight Saving Time (DST) in US - 2012

The Daylight Saving (not Savings) Time (DST) in the United States of America started on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00am, and will end on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00am. The DST is observed in every state in the USA except Arizona and Hawaii.

Spring Forward, Fall Back

The easiest way to remember which way to adjust your clock during these 2 annual events is "Spring Forward! Fall Back!!". Move the clock forward by one hour in Spring (when the DST begins) and move it back in Fall (when DST ends).

So, tomorrow at 2am local time you need to move your clock back by one hour. This gives you the opportunity to catch up on that much needed sleep. Sleeping half-moon An extra hour of sleep is always welcome, right! Rolling on the floor laughing

The flip side to this is that you'll lose an hour of light. Starting tomorrow it will get dark early by one hour until Spring of-course, when you gain an hour of light but lose an hour of sleep. Confused? Confused smile
